A WMS (Warehouse Management System) is software for tracking stock levels, goods receipts, write-offs, picking (order gathering) and stocktakes. A modern WMS is integrated with customer orders and invoicing — when you ship goods, stock is automatically reduced and an invoice waits for confirmation. Yes. Entexia WMS runs in the browser, without a server or special hardware. For a warehouse with one to five workers and one to three locations, setup typically takes one day. Import stock from Excel, define locations manually, and batch print labels on any A4 or thermal printer.

When a salesperson confirms a sales order in the CRM module, Entexia automatically creates a despatch note in the WMS. The warehouse worker sees a picking list with exact item locations. When shipped, stock decreases and the Finance module receives an invoice request — no manual data transfer.

Yes. Entexia WMS supports barcode and QR code scanning for goods receipt, picking and stocktakes. Any standard USB or Bluetooth code reader works — no special hardware needed. The mobile version works on a tablet or phone with a built-in camera.

Entexia WMS supports tracking by serial number and lot/batch. For food or pharmaceutical items it supports FEFO (First Expired First Out) logic, which automatically suggests issuing goods with the nearest expiry date. FIFO (First In First Out) is the default mode for generic goods.
