Frequently asked questions

Does WMS work without a dedicated scan terminal?

Yes. Entexia WMS works on any Android or iOS smartphone — no industrial hardware investment. For intensive use, it also supports Zebra and Honeywell scan terminals.

How does WMS connect to CRM orders?

When a sales order is confirmed in CRM, WMS automatically receives a shipment order. A pick list is created based on location and FIFO/FEFO rule. After shipment confirmation, stock is reduced and an invoice is created in Finance.

Does the module support batches and expiry dates?

Yes. Every receipt can get a batch number and expiry date. FEFO picking prioritises those with shorter expiry. Batch traceability back to supplier and forward to customer is guaranteed.

How many warehouses or locations can I manage?

No limit. Entexia WMS supports unlimited warehouses, zones, aisles, racks, and bins. Transfers are documented with timestamp and responsible worker.

How does stocktake work?

Start stocktake in Entexia → mobile shows counting list → scan + enter quantity → Entexia shows discrepancies between physical and book stock. Manager confirms — posting automatic.

Does WMS work for e-commerce (Shopify, WooCommerce)?

Yes. Orders from the webshop automatically arrive in WMS as shipment orders. Shipment tracking with GLS, DHL, Pošta SI integration.
