Frequently asked questions

Does the system automatically calculate leave balances?
Yes. Entexia calculates balances based on employment relationship, contract, and your country's legislation. Accounts for part-time, mid-year start, and special cases (parental, long-term sick).
What happens with sick leave — does the employee need to upload a certificate?
For sick leave up to 3 days, a request in the system is sufficient. For longer sick leave, the employee uploads the medical certificate (PDF). HR confirms it and the system updates the balance.
Is the module compliant with ZDR-1 (Slovenia) and Labor Act (Croatia)?
Yes. Entexia respects minimum annual leave (ZDR-1: min. 4 weeks), carry-over of unused leave, sick leave records, and Croatian Labor Act for HR tenants.
How do I see who is absent this week?
The manager has a team view — weekly or monthly — showing all approved absences for their team. Colors distinguish annual leave from sick leave and other types.
Can employees access their own past absences?
Yes. Every employee sees their full absence history, balance by type, and open requests. Managers cannot access absences of employees from other departments.
Is a mobile app included?
Yes. Employees can submit requests, and managers approve or reject, from mobile — without a computer.
