Frequently asked questions

Must I respond to a data subject request within 30 days?
Yes. GDPR Art. 12 sets a 30-day deadline for responding to data subject requests. In complex cases, a 2-month extension is possible with justification. Entexia reminds you on day 20 and 27.
What data subject rights does GDPR provide for?
GDPR provides for: right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17 — 'right to be forgotten'), restriction of processing (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21).
Must we maintain processing activity records (RoPA)?
Yes, for organizations with 250+ employees this is mandatory (GDPR Art. 30). For smaller ones it's recommended — it's proof of compliance at inspection. Entexia has templates for HR, CRM, Finance, Marketing.
Within what time must we report a data breach?
Within 72 hours of discovering the incident to the competent supervisory authority. Entexia tracks the incident, risk assessment, and prepares the report.
Does Entexia replace a Data Protection Officer (DPO)?
No. Entexia is a tool for managing GDPR processes. The DPO is a legal or natural person with specific responsibilities — that remains on your DPO.
Does the module support cookie and consent management on a website?
Yes. Entexia connects to your website via a JavaScript plugin for recording consent. All consents are stored with date, IP, and policy version.
