Is the audit log mandatory under GDPR?
GDPR requires a record of processing activities (Art. 30) and the ability to prove who accessed personal data and when. The Entexia audit log provides this automatically across all modules.
Can an admin delete a record?
No. Audit records are technically protected from deletion or modification — not even the tenant owner can alter them. This is by design and is a condition for reliable evidence.
How long is the audit log retained?
Default 7 years (recommendation for financial documents in SI/HR). Configurable retention per record type.
