Frequently asked questions

What invoicing program does a sole trader need?

A sole trader needs a program that: (1) issues invoices with all mandatory fields (registration number, tax ID, IBAN, the DDMMLLLL stamp), (2) automatically obtains the EOR from FURS for cash transactions (fiscalisation), (3) handles VAT if the sole trader is VAT-registered, and (4) for flat-rate taxpayers tracks annual revenue and alerts before the 150,000 € limit is breached. Entexia covers all four.

Does a flat-rate sole trader need fiscalisation?

Yes. Fiscalisation is mandatory for every cash transaction, regardless of VAT registration. A flat-rate sole trader who accepts cash or card payments on-site must confirm each such invoice with FURS and receive an EOR. Entexia does this automatically in under one second.

How does Entexia help with the flat-rate 150,000 € limit?

Entexia automatically sums issued invoices for the current year and alerts at three thresholds: 120,000 € (orange), 140,000 € (red) and 148,000 € (critical). Revenue is counted on a cash basis (when the customer pays), not an accrual basis. Entexia checks the exact limits from tenant settings every year from January.

How much does sole trader invoicing cost?

Entexia costs 13 € per month for one user on an annual plan. This includes unlimited invoices, FURS fiscalisation, UJP e-invoices and flat-rate revenue tracking. Free trial for 7 days.

Does a sole trader also need a separate accounting program?

Entexia is not a replacement for an accounting program (it does not do double-entry bookkeeping or submit annual reports to Ajpes). It is, however, an invoicing program that sends your accountant complete KIR and KPR extracts in XML and Excel format. Most accountants accept the Entexia annual extract without a special import.

How quickly can I start invoicing?

For a sole trader, getting started typically takes one hour: enter your company name, registration and tax number, IBAN and a signature image. Issue your first invoice in two minutes. FURS fiscalisation is set up once by entering a certificate — Entexia guides you step by step.
