New EU law from 27 Sep 2026

EU guarantee label, ready before the deadline

From 27 September 2026, Directive (EU) 2024/825 introduces a mandatory legal guarantee notice for every B2C sale of goods, and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 defines a conditional GARAN label for products with a manufacturer durability guarantee of more than two years. Entexia already provides this support and activates it automatically once the legal requirement takes effect.

The EU guarantee (legal guarantee notice and conditional GARAN label) is already built into Entexia and is shown automatically from 27 September 2026, when the legal requirement takes effect. Confirm implementation details on the first call.

What the EU guarantee includes

Mandatory legal guarantee notice

For every B2C sale of goods, a standardised legal guarantee notice (Annex I) is shown, as required by Directive (EU) 2024/825.

Conditional GARAN label

The GARAN label (Annex II) is shown only when a product meets all 5 conditions of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 at once - never automatically by default.

Sync with WooCommerce and Shopify

For shops using an external integration, guarantee data and the GARAN label are synchronised directly to WooCommerce or Shopify - no duplicate data entry.

Shop-level and product-level display

The general notice appears at shop level, while the GARAN label attaches to individual products with traceable manufacturer guarantee documentation.

When a product qualifies for the GARAN label

All 5 conditions from Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 must be met simultaneously.

1
Manufacturer offers a durability guarantee longer than 2 years
2
The guarantee covers the entire product, not just individual parts
3
The guarantee is free of charge for the consumer
4
Guarantee data is actually made available to the retailer
5
All required formal label elements are met
